Company History

The original White Oak Energy, L.L.C. was founded in 1998.  The company has always been an engineering based company that has grown by acquiring producing properties.  Throughout its history, the most valuable acquisitions White Oak has made have been in the form of people.  The staff that is assembled at White Oak has been instrumental in creating remarkable investor returns while striving daily to maintain low lifting costs.  

White Oak has remained geographically focused throughout its history - with assets located in the gulf coast region of both Texas and Louisiana.  By the fall of 2003, the company had grown in size to include over 350 company operated wells and interest in 700 non-operated wells.  In April, 2004, the company successfully completed the sale of all of its assets to Output Exploration LLC. 

Following completion of the sale, Tom Isler and Mike Rayburn again joined forces to continue to exploit Gulf Coast assets.  The key personnel of White Oak have remained together through the formation and sale of numerous asset packages.  Since its inception, White Oak has completed over 100 acquisitions and has been involved in the acquisition and divestiture of over $400 Million worth of properties.  

White Oak has always prided itself on the priority given to ethical business practices, workplace safety and community service.  Our track record in all of these areas is a cornerstone of our company history and will remain so.
